Tallulah Falls Railroad Museum
The Tallulah Falls Railroad Museum was formed in 1994 with the completion of TF number seven. There is a picture of number seven to the right. Number seven was built at Rabun Gap Nachoocee School in Rabun Gap G.A. Number Seven is a two-foot gauge 2-4-4 Forney type steam locomotive she is a product of Oliver Locomotive works out of Rabun Gap G.A. Our Museum has about a mile-and-a-half of track and operates during the summer month's.
Among the list of equipment besides number seven is listed below.
A Two-Foot Gauge Parlor/Observation: The Dillard Observation/Parlor car is one of the last remaining Two-Foot Gauge Parlor cars in existence. The Dillard is the newest Two-Foot Gauge Parlor car. It weights in at about 10,000 pounds, sadly the Dillard has not been used since the 2004 season.
A Two-Foot Gauge Caboose: The Bobber Caboose weights in at around 2,000 pounds and is used frequently on the Museum grounds.
